This project includes installation of an economical Play Structure/Playground and shall include but is not limited to the following work: 1. Installation of a Play Structure/Playground, including all preparation work and concrete footings. (Removal of old structure, including footings, has been completed) 2. Installation of all, appropriate, and adequate “Fall Material” under the structure 3. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) path leading from existing sidewalk to structure 4. The structure should be appropriate for users aged 2-12 years 5. The structure should include green, brown, and tan colors 6. The structure should not exceed a maximum capacity of 25 children 7. The structure should have a Use Zone that does not exceed 32’ x 32 8. The structure should have a fall height of no more than 48” 9. The structure’s dimensions should not exceed up to, but no more than 19’6”L x 17’6”W x 14’H 10. The structure shall have at least one (1) covered area 11. The structure shall have at least one (1) wave slide 12. The structure shall have at least one (1) crawl tunnel 13. The structure shall have at least one (1) climbing unit 14. The structure shall have at least five (5) play events/accessories 15. Steel posts shall be a minimum of a 3.5” diameter 16. The structure’s material shall be a combination of steel and plastic 17. The structure shall follow/meet all American Society for Testing and Materials (ATSM), Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Guidelines 18. The Contractor shall prepare, construct, transfer, and install all components of this project. 19. Contractor must coordinate installation times and dates with Owner so no conflict with scheduled events will occur. The facility will be open for business during the time the playground structure being installed. 20. Bid figures should also include all preparation, handling, freight, and delivery fees. 21. The contractor shall remove from the area all trash, rubbish, and debris caused by its operations, leaving the job site clean at the close of each business day.
