The scope will include the following principal tasks: Task 1 - Project Management and Quality Management • The Consultant will be responsible for managing, administering, monitoring, controlling, and coordinating the work defined in the contract. This task represents the labor and expenses associated with scheduling, coordinating, reporting, conducting quality management of deliverables, and communicating with SPU regarding services for this work. • The Consultant will manage and coordinate the work of the contract including project management, preparation of monthly progress reports, conducting biweekly progress meetings with SPU staff, Critical Path schedule development and maintenance (using Microsoft Project or an equivalent project management software application that can import and export Microsoft Project files per City of Seattle Standard Specifications (2020), Section 1-08.3), overall coordination and quality management. Quality management must follow Quality Assurance/Quality Checking (QA/QC) procedures and formats in SPU’s Design Standards & Guidelines (DSG)2. • Be familiar with Earned Value Management (EVM) and will report project progress using EVM graphics and a table of EVM statistics. • Submit a schedule with deliverables and dates to SPU within 20-days of Notice to Proceed. Task 2 - Options Analysis • Visit Landsburg Dam and collect information necessary to complete the options analysis.
