Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The stockpile site is located in Knappa at 92698 Old Market Rd, Astoria, OR 97103. 2. Contractor shall install approximately 1,030 LF of new “Type CL-6” (6’ chain link fencing, see detail RD815) around the site. Fence shall be topped with three strand barbed wire for security around the entire perimeter, including on top of the gates. The new fence is to be installed a minimum of 1’ inside of the painted/staked locations in the field. Any questions about the layout or limits of the work not clearly defined here or in the scope of work (SOW) document can be answered by the Project Manager listed above. 3. The installation of this fencing is intended to secure the existing stockpile site, and the work also requires the installation of two 20’ single swing gates as shown in the SOW document. 4. The contractor may use the stockpile site as a material and equipment staging area for the duration of the project. 5. Any brush removal along the proposed fence line necessary to install new fence is considered incidental to the installation work performed. The contractor is responsible for the removal of brush/vegetation debris and the hauling off/disposing of the materials. 6. Contractor to retain and protect existing property corners.
