• Open trench construction of approximately 1050 feet of 45-inch welded steel pipe, including temporary and permanent restoration of the disturbed surfaces as required by the City of Springfield. • Relaying sewer and storm pipelines as necessary to facilitate construction in accordance with City of Springfield construction standards. • Providing traffic control including managing safe pedestrian and bicycle movement around work zone. Install signs, message boards, and coordinate with City of Springfield. • Completing flushing and testing of all new pipelines. • Comply with all City of Springfield permit requirements. Provide all required notices and inspections required by permit. • Coordination with other contractors working nearby. Maintain neat and orderly work site. Engage in regular communication and coordination with other contractors working in the area. Modify work schedules and work zones as necessary to facilitate deliveries and truck traffic. • Install erosion control measures including tree protection and all other erosion control required by plans and the City of Springfield. Contractor responsible to modify plan as necessary to ensure protection of trees, waterways and storm drains. • Install and test cathodic protection system.
