Task 1: Stakeholder Engagement - The Project Advisory Committee (PAC) is an existing committee administered by RTA staff that consists of representatives from each existing Section 5310 subrecipient: CTA, Metra, Pace, IDOT, and various other agencies. The PAC will serve as the technical advisory committee for the development of the updated HSTP. The awarded consultant shall convene this committee a minimum of three (3) times during the term of this engagement. Once at the onset of the process to brief the project and get initial feedback from committee members; once to present draft recommendations and revisions and solicit feedback from committee members; and once to present the draft final plan for review. The awarded consultant shall identify additional stakeholder and public engagement activities to supplement the PAC involvement, specifically engaging additional transportation partners, passengers and advocates, and human service partners within the study area. Stakeholders must include representatives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Methods may include focus groups, one-on-one interviews, phone interviews, or online surveys.
