1. Provide general transportation planning and preliminary design review for campus roadway, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit projects. Types of services shall include: a. Evaluation of existing transportation conditions; b. Initial concept review and design of proposed roadway and path of travel improvements; c. Evaluation of transportation effects that could result from proposed campus growth and development projects; d. Review and concept design for roadways and intersection operations considering multi-modal implications. e. Traffic impact analyses of proposed UC Davis development projects f. Prepare environmental documentation consistent with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and state and UC guidelines. g. Evaluate effectiveness of mitigation measures proposed and implemented for the 2020 LRDP Update. Provide implementation guidance and planning for 2020 LRDP Update EIR mitigation measures. h. Participate in public and agency outreach, and involvement related to UC Davis Health transportation planning and review processes. i. Provide planning analysis and conceptual design for transportation improvement projects including traffic signal modification and traffic signal design. 2. Additional Services may include but are not limited to: j. Evaluation of proposed transportation-related technologies; k. Transportation corridor operation and improvements; l. Evaluation of alternative transportation programs; m. Intersection monitoring; n. Transportation data collection (including traffic counts); o. And transportation survey efforts.
