2.1 Customization & Enhancements • Optimize workflows to streamline business processes in collaboration with City staff. • Implement new Accela modules as required by the City. • Configure user roles, permissions, and security settings. • Develop custom scripts, expressions, and automation to optimize system workflows. • Develop Accela Citizen Access (ACA) enhancements for improved user experience. • Implement business rules and validation checks for data integrity. • Customize inspection related processes and configurations as needed. 2.2 System Integration • Develop, implement and provide support for integrations between Accela and thirdparty systems, including: o GIS (Geographic Information System) o Document Management Systems (e.g., Hyland OnBase) o Payment Gateways o Email and SMS Notification Platforms • Utilize Accela APIs, Webhooks, and Query APIs for seamless data exchange. • Ensure data synchronization and integrity between Accela and other applications. 2.3 Reporting & Data Analytics • Develop standard and custom reports using Accela Ad Hoc Reporting, SSRS, ERD, or other reporting tools. • Automate report generation and scheduling for department needs. 2.4 Ongoing Support & Maintenance • Provide support for troubleshooting and bug fixes. • Apply updates and patches to maintain system security and functionality. • Maintain compliance with Accela best practices and security protocols. • Provide guidance on emerging Accela features and industry best practices. • Assist with data cleansing, migration, and archival as needed. • Offer on-call support for miscellaneous tasks, including weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly check-ins if required. 2.5 Training & Knowledge Transfer • Provide structured training sessions for City staff at various skill levels. • Develop training materials, including user guides, FAQs, and video tutorials. • Offer hands-on training for staff on configurations.
