PROJECT A—Shoreline Sailing Lake Monitoring, Sampling, and Reporting: The Proposer shall provide methodologies for sampling, laboratory analyses, and reporting for Tasks A1 through A3. Task A1: Lake Water Quality Sampling - Collect water samples from the Lake twice per month from November through April and weekly from May through October, in accordance with the LMP (Attachment D). All samples shall be collected in laboratory-supplied containers, stored in an icecooled container, and delivered to the City’s contracted water quality testing laboratory, Alpha Analytical, located in Livermore, California, to fulfill the water quality tests listed below in Table 1. Task A2: Cyanobacteria Toxin Sampling/Laboratory Testing Collect monthly samples of cyanobacteria toxins during the scheduled sampling as part of Task A1 to monitor harmful algae blooms. Samples shall be taken from the designated location at the boat ramp adjacent to the Boathouse (SML-1 on Figure 1). During sample collection, photographs shall be taken to assess the surface water condition and compared to the Water Board’s Visual Guide for identifying HAB.
