A. The SAS software is used to create reports and statistical data by the ITD Application teams that run on the Mainframe in support of our customers. These reports and statistical data provide our customers with information that is required for their daily business needs. The ITD Application teams have implemented considerable resources and time in developing said reports for customers during the last 35 years, with a monetary investment of over $3.1 million. The County currently has over 2500 programs written and actively in use supporting our customers with the software. B. SAS Analytics Pro is a commercial off the shelf software, which the County has highly customized to support advanced data analysis, predictive modeling, and data management within the organization. The scope includes software installation, integration with existing systems, and customization of analytical workflows to meet operational and regulatory requirements. Key tasks will involve data ingestion, statistical analysis, reporting automation, and dashboard development for real-time insights. The project will also cover user training, system optimization, and ongoing support to ensure efficient utilization and compliance with security protocols. The solution will enhance decision-making by leveraging scalable, high-performance analytics while maintaining data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards. Standard technical support: vendor must be available, either by telephone or electronically, to help the County solve specific problems with the Software as documented at support.sas.com, which may be updated from time to time. Contractor technical support also includes access to all new releases, updates, bug-fixes, security patches and other corrective code that vendor makes generally available. The County agrees to use reasonable efforts to install such content for Software not hosted by vendor. If the County chooses not to install the current release of the Software, the level of technical support will diminish over time. During ongoing development, Vendor may add, change or delete individual components or functionality in new releases of the Software. The County will establish knowledgeable technical contacts who are qualified to provide vendor with information necessary for vendor to diagnose and remedy any problems.
