The purpose of this specification is to establish a sixty (60) month Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) master agreement for the purchase of veterinary pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for the City of Dallas’ Department of Animal Services (“Animal Services”). An ID/IQ term agreement is established when quantities of goods or services and/or delivery schedules cannot be determined. Goods or services shall be ordered on an as needed basis for the term of the agreement. In order to obtain the largest possible range of veterinary pharmaceuticals and supplies, the City intends to award IDIQ contract(s) to a pool of providers. The size of the pool will be determined by the number and quality of proposals received. Depending upon the type of pharmaceutical or supply needed, the City will purchase the needed materials from the contractors who offer the best prices and services to the City.
