Tonopah Airport [TPH] is in the southern portion of Nye County just east of Tonopah, Nevada. The airport reference point is located at 38° 3′ 37″ North Latitude, 117° 5′ 12″ West Longitude. The Tonopah Airport contains two taxiways, TW A and TW B. Of the two, TW A is the primary taxiway. This project consists of work on TW A. The scope of work includes replacement of existing incandescent medium intensity taxiway edge light system, replacement of existing signs, and installation of new primary wind cone located along RW 15-33. Additionally, existing lighting cables will be replaced with new cable and conduit. Existing plastic base cans will be replaced with new steel base cans. Due to the recent failure of the existing TW A constant current regulator, a new regulator will be installed for this taxiway.
