Bridges: Sweeping of bridges will be measured and paid for by the unit (each) and shall include both sides of the bridge. When a bridge is contiguous with a curb and gutter roadway on which sweeping is performed, the sweeping of the bridge shall be included in the measurement and payment for the sweeping of the roadway and no separate payment will be made for the sweeping of the bridge. Intersections: Sweeping of intersections will be measured and paid for by the unit (each) and shall include all legs of the intersection. When the curbing on an intersection is contiguous with curb and gutter street, on which sweeping is performed, the sweeping of the intersection approaches shall be included in the measurement and payment for the sweeping of the roadway. Crossovers: Sweeping of median crossovers/turnbacks will be paid for with the intersection unless the crossover/turnback isn’t contingent with the intersection.
