The following Specifications are the minimum that IDFG is willing to accept. The Racks are to be fitted to and installed on the following vehicles: Twenty (20) 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks. Six (6) 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 trucks. NO WIRING OR MOUNTING OF LIGHTBAR IS TO BE DONE AS ON PREVIOUS SOLICITATIONS The Headache racks must meet the following minimum specifications: 1. Racks must be built strong enough to support three thousand (3000) pounds of dead weight being loaded into the truck bed by the attached wench. 2. Racks must be custom built to fit on top of the front and side bed rails of the above listed trucks and is to extend five (5) inches above cab height. 3. Racks must be powder coated with a durable finish, black in color 4. The frame of the rack must be constructed out of square steel tubing for strength. The square tubing needs to be welded in a way to allow for passage of internal wiring from mounted lighting down to electrical box mounted in the bed of the truck. 5. The upper horizontal tube of the Rack must be constructed of square steel tubing, four (4) inches wide by two (2) inches deep to allow for wiring of the light bar and install of associated lighting.
