For the contractor convenience, space will be made available within the Department of Public Works for overnight storage of equipment. Daily work tickets with tally of basins treated shall be provided to accompanying town staff. Provide catch basin cleaning services for approximately 1,639 catch basins per year and approximately 36 deep basins per year. All basins within the Town of Woodbridge shall fall under two - (2) categories, catch basins and deep catch basins. Catch basins shall be counted as all basins less than 13 feet deep. Deep basins shall be counted as basins greater than or equal to 13 feet deep. Bids are to be priced per catch basin. Payment will be calculated by the number of catch basins cleaned, multiplied by the charge per catch basin, and the number of deep basins cleaned, multiplied by the charge per catch basins. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to ensure back-flow prevention or air gap if connecting to a hydrant supply. The Town will provide a water supply, dumping site, one laborer for assistance in location of basins, assistance in removing basin covers and providing back-up documentation. The Town will also provide parking space for vendor vehicle(s) and/or equipment. Additional labor and/or supplemental equipment shall be provided and funded by the vendor. Bidders must indicate on the bid form the type and capacity of equipment to be used including size of suction pipe. Equipment used in provision of service must have water jetting and vacuum capability.
