Scheduled once per week curbside trash pick-up shall be provided to each residence/small business. Scheduled bi-weekly recyclable pick-up shall be provided to each residence. Collection shall be provided on a regular schedule approved by the Town Administrator which shall provide for collection of solid waste five times per week, as per current schedule. In any week when a county landfill is closed, and the schedule adjusted, the Contractor must give prior notification to allow for publication of change. The Contractor shall provide a written collection schedule to each resident if any changes are to be made as to scheduled collection days. The Contractor shall furnish to the Town Administrator his route schedule which shall not be changed or adjusted without prior notification thereof to the affected residents and review and approval of the Town Administrator. The Contractor shall provide monthly reports of tonnage collected in the Town and deposited in the County landfills and/ or recycling facilities. The Contractor is encouraged to use smart truck technologies capable of verifying services to help improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Roll carts will be placed next to the curb but out of the traveling surface of the roadway on the date of scheduled service. Roll carts shall be placed at curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of collection and collected by 7:30 p.m. The contractor shall provide a minimum 95 gallon roll cart for both trash and recyclables. The contractor will deliver roll carts within two weeks of notification of service. The contractor will provide the Town Facilities service to its five (5) dumpsters twice weekly as part of the overall garbage service. The contractor will provide roll carts for recyclables at the Town Facilities to be serviced on an every other week basis.
