The Contracted Travel Agency will be required to provide access to professional travel agent(s) and an online reservation system that can process all travel reservations requested 24/7/365. This will include domestic and international travel reservations for air, car, hotel and railway services. All commissions earned on State travel must be returned to the State of Michigan. The Contractor may also be required to collect on behalf of the State from each traveler booking airfare a “service fee” determined by the State of Michigan. The “service fee” will be charged to the air travel credit account that is charged for the airfare. Th awarded Contractor will be required to submit on a monthly basis a reconciliation of the transaction fees incurred during the past month offset by the commissions earned and any service fees collected on behalf of the State.
