Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. E.D.T. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, 135 East Maumee Street, Adrian, Michigan 49221, for the demolition and removal of the building located at 1575 W Maumee St., Adrian, Michigan 49221. SPECIFICATIONS a. Construct fencing around jobsite b. Provide a Port-A-John for workers c. Provide any and all dumpsters and disposal cost required for this scope of work d. Cut asphalt paving where necessary: i. Along East Side curbing which is to remain in place ii. Along Storm drains which are to remain in place iii. Along West Side Easement line (25’) (Adjusted to show on map) iv. Along North East Side driveway approach e. All room furniture will be disposed of and removed from jobsite prior to demolition f. Remove and cut sewer line to property line and cap and seal g. Provide dust control measures during all demolition activities h. Furnish and install controlled Class II sand backfill i. Furnish and install 4” of screening topsoil j. Seed and straw k. Work in scope to meet MIOSHA requirements l. Asbestos Abatement is currently out for Bid m. Demolition and Disposal to include: i. Everything outlined in Blue (See Attached Map) including: a. All structures including existing sheds b. All Pavement c. All Concrete d. All existing landscaping, to INCLUDE trees e.
