Lane Transit District (LTD) has interest in providing public transportation services to rural areas in Lane County, OR as indicated herein. LTD prefers the identification of one (1) prime contractor to perform and provide the identified services. Potential Prime Contractors may subcontract services for any or all of the identified services, however, they will remain the responsible party for the services. Potential Prime Contractors may subcontract if necessary to operate as efficiently as possibly across the various services and their geographic service areas Please note that the three Rural Shuttle Services described below (South Lane County, Mohawk Valley, and OR 36) are pilot programs. As such, LTD anticipates evaluating these services on an ongoing basis and reserves the right to change, expand, contract, or terminate these services at any time for any reason during the two-year pilot period.
