A. The major Work items included this Contract comprise the administration, coordination, and construction of: 1. Interior illumination upgrades: a. Demolition and disposal of existing light fixtures and occupancy sensors. b. Furnish and install new light fixtures, switches, and occupancy sensors. 2. Provide all necessary modifications to the existing lighting system including but not limited to: removing conduit and conductors, providing new conduit and conductors, salvaging ceiling tiles, and adding or replacing ceiling tiles as necessary to make a complete and functional installation. 3. Exterior illumination upgrades: a. As-build existing walkway and parking area circuits. b. Demolition including disposal of building-mounted and pole-mounted light fixtures. c. Demolition including disposal of pedestrian-scale lighting. d. Furnishing and installation of new building-mounted and pole-mounted light fixtures. e. Furnishing and installation of new pedestrian-scale lighting. f. Repair conduit run between light columns at the southwest corner of the building. g. Demolish and dispose of j-box near main entrance and provide new abovegrade splice point. 4. Emergency lighting illumination: a. Demolition and disposal of wall-mount emergency light fixtures and exit signs. b. Furnishing and installation of new wall-mount emergency light fixtures and exit signs.
