This project consists of design, procurement and installation of playground elements at the J. Richard Martin Community Center Playground. Work is to include the design of play systems within the existing play area boundaries, as well as the installation of commercial grade equipment, footings, landing mats and fall materials as required. All equipment will be assembled and installed by the supplier or will supervise the assembly and installation by a subcontractor. All play systems must meet or exceed all current federal CPSC, ASTM, IPEMA standards and ADA requirements. Proposals shall include the cost of delivery, play systems as designed, inclusive of equipment structures, components, hardware, detailed technical installation instructions and maintenance and operations manuals from the manufacturer. Playground suppliers shall provide (2) two sketch-level conceptual designs and itemized pricing. The approximate size of the subject area is 18,500 square feet, surrounded and divided by an existing fence that will be replaced by a fence on the exterior only of the space prior to playground construction. Required items: • Playground elements for ages 5-12 in the main area. • Playground elements for ages 2-5 in the Clark Street side area • Elements can include passive and active recreation equipment • Five (5) Year warranty. • Provide a complete and operable product to the satisfaction of the owner. • The total dollar amount for this proposal should not exceed $250,000.00
