1. Evaluate and inspect the condition of existing flooring and identify any necessary surface preparations. 2. Perform surface preparation or pre-treatment of the existing flooring. 3. Remove and dispose of any unnecessary existing materials. 4. Supply and install slip-resistant flooring to specified area in its entirety. The proposed flooring must be: - Durable and capable of withstanding the demands inherent to an Apparatus Bay (heavy equipment, foot traffic, and exposure to moisture) - Slip-resistant, particularly in wet or oily conditions - Easy to maintain and clean - Resistant to abrasions, cracks, and stains 5. Installation must be completed in accordance with all manufacturer specifications. 6. Complete any sealing or post installation steps in accordance with manufacturer specifications. 7. Conduct a final inspection to ensure flooring meets quality standards and project specifications. 8. Worksite should be kept reasonably clean and free of equipment or materials that may create hazardous conditions for personnel. 9. Protection of all surfaces including those not in the scope of work from construction debris or damage. The contractor will be responsible for any damage to property due to construction. 10. All work shall be substantially completed within 30 calendar days of Purchase Order issuance.
