The New Britain Public Works Department, Utilities Division is soliciting bids for 500 feet of the 4” Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, push on joint, 500 feet of 6" Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, push on joint, 2,000 feet of 8" Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, push on joint, 300 feet of 8” Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, restrained joint, 2,500 feet of 12" class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, push on joint, 300 feet of a 12” Ductile Iron Pipe, restrained joint, 2,000 feet of 16” Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, push on joint, 500 feet of 20” Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, push on joint, and 250 feet of 24” Class 52 Ductile Iron Pipe, push on joint, as per the attached specifications. The Water Department reserves the right to order all, or any portion of, the amount of footage for 4”, 6", 8", 12", 16”, 20”and 24” pipe stipulated. This bid is not a guarantee for the New Britain Public Works Department, Utilities Division to purchase all of the pipe sizes and quantities indicated. Vendor must call 48 hours in advance of delivery at 1-860- 826-3536 so the Public Works Department, Utilities Division can have the necessary personnel on hand to unload the pipe.
