The City of New Orleans EMS Division uses approximately: 200 - 500 "D" cylinders (NOEMS need a commitment of 300 “D” cylinders monthly from the awarded bidder with the awarded bidder having the capability to provide more if needed),30 - 50 "H" cylinders (NOEMS need a commitment of 30 “H” cylinders monthly from the awarded bidder with the awarded bidder having the capability to provide more if needed) , and 6 “M6” cylinders of medical oxygen monthly. These numbers may decrease or increase upon demand with no less than 2 deliveries per week with the possibility of more than 2 deliveries per week depending upon demand. Contractor will also supply 180L Liquid Oxygen Tanks for times of upon request. All "D" cylinder tanks must be aluminum in construction and have integrated Oxygen delivery capabilities via built in regulator which is capable of providing from 1 - Liter of Oxygen up to 25 - Liters of Oxygen as well as include a 50 PSI DISS connection on each tank. Due to storage areas for end use, the regulators installed must not exceed 4.0 inches in diameter. Additionally, each tank must include a handle.
