The City desires to continue to provide demand response public transit service within the Rock Hill and Fort Mill/Tega Cay/Lake Wylie urbanized areas. The City wants to improve the quality of life for residents, particularly those unable to drive or without access to transportation, by providing a dependable demand response service and paratransit service to help meet their needs. The City wants to provide the service in an efficient and cost-effective manner while serving as many residents as possible. Demand Response Service The City provides a demand response public transit service with normal operating hours of Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Operating hours may vary depending upon capacity and passenger pick-up times. Fares are currently $2.50 for a one-way trip. City staff has the option to reevaluate the fare level when deemed necessary. Paratransit Service The City provides a paratransit service with operating hours that match those offered by the My Ride fixed route bus system. These hours are currently Monday-Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (pick up times). These are subject to change.
