The College’s Health Sciences, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and Paramedic Program requests the purchase of the following products from STRYKER SALES LLC (“STRYKER”): • Two (2) 6507 POWER PRO 2 High Configuration Kit - Four (4) Alvarium Battery - Four (4) Service Assembly - Four (4) Battery Charger Assembly - Four (4) Power Cord (North America) - Two (2) Base Storage Net • Two (2) 6257 XPEDITION Mid Configuration • Two (2) Head Support for XPEDITION • Two (2) LUCAS 3.1 Training Unit, along with four (4) of its accompanying accessories. These products have been widely adopted by emergency medical services, hospitals, fire departments, and training institutions across the United States and are crucial for enhancing both practical training and real-world emergency response capabilities making it an invaluable tool for training and education. Reason for Sole Source: The College understands that STRYKER SALES LLC is the sole source and exclusive manufacturer and distributor in the United States of America for these systems and accessories, including the 6507 POWER PRO 2 stretcher, 6257 XPEDITION powered stair chair, and LUCAS 3.1 Training Unit, are proprietary to STRYKER, and the company is the only authorized seller of these products. No other distributors or third-party vendors are authorized to sell these items, making STRYKER the sole provider for this equipment.
