This Request for Information (RFI) Notice of Intent to Designate a Sole Brand is to determine if the specified commodity or service is available from multiple providers, or if an alternate commodity or service is available that would meet the County’s needs. This is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment. The following commodity or service is thought to be available only as a sole brand and is the only commodity/service that meets the County’s needs: Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Division is requesting a sole brand designation for the acquisition of Quicklert Licenses, Support and Maintenance. Quicklert has been in used by Broward County for over 8 years and owns almost 10,000 licenses providing multiple features such as alerts to when a caller dials 911, and Dial-out configurations. Additionally, this software provides the fully implemented Mass Notification system (AlertBroward) - to immediately broadcast emergency notifications via the speaker phone at each phone device in addition to specialized telephone wall mounted speakers. Quicklert is a critical component of the County’s emergency management infrastructure. This RFI will remain posted until closing date and time.
