The HPD is a two story, secured structure that was constructed in 1984 and renovated in 2005. The building has thirty (30) windows of varying sizes. The HPD is seeking an RFQ to replace all 30 windows. Submitted proposals must address the following scope of work requirements: - Mandatory site visit to inspect current conditions of building and take measurements of all windows. - Install temporary noise/dust barrier for dispatch. - Removal and disposal of old windows. - Daily clean up at end of workday. - Replace all windows with new vinyl (or equivalent), energy efficient windows, with “6 over 6 grids” inside glass. - Replacement of one (1) cracked ballistic covering in the dispatch center. - Detailed description of all applicable warranties, either by manufacturer or contractor, that apply. - Removal and reinstallation of interior and exterior trim, as needed. - Painting and repair/replacement of any trim that is damaged during window replacement. - Repair and repainting of any walls damaged during window replacement. - Where applicable, careful removal and reinstallation of ballistic window coverings (this applies to five windows). - Upgraded insulation around all new windows. - Contractor must also provide proof of insurance with submission.
