Lot 1: The lease of commercial autonomous cleaning devices including all associated supplies and services, for various facilities at the University. These facilities may include moveable and/or fixed objects on various types of flooring, including but not limited to vinyl composite tile (VCT), carpeting, and ceramic, quartz and porcelain tiles. Coverage areas where the devices may be used will vary. Areas may be as large as 100,000+ sq. ft. where others may be as small as 5,000 sq. ft. Proposal should include the devices, charging stations, software and software upgrades, supplies, maintenance and repair, replacement (if repair or maintenance is not possible), onsite training, technical support and any other associated products or service required to successfully operate the devices. All proposed devices and/or services require “data privacy protection” software, whereby the communication between the robotic units and the cloud platform are focused on protecting the University’s privacy. The Vendor guarantees that any devices with navigation cameras are for positioning purposes and obstacle avoidance only, and no images are stored inside the unit or uploaded by any means or can be extracted in any way. The product requirements listed below are for specific autonomous vacuum cleaner devices, however the University is interested in all lines of commercial autonomous cleaning devices available, including but not limited to vacuums, scrubbers, and sweepers. Vendor proposals should include all lines of commercial autonomous cleaning devices available for lease (Lot 1) and/or purchase (Lot 2).
