1.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for knowing and complying with federal, state, and local guidelines pertaining to the project activities, especially concerning the disturbance of wetlands. 1.2 The FWC Project Manager will communicate with the adjoining landowners regarding work schedule. 1.3 The Contractor shall notify the FWC Contract Manager at least two days prior to entering the work site. 1.4 The Contractor will be responsible for locating any underground utilities before digging begins. Known underground utilities intersect the Gasline Section of this project area. 1.5 The Contractor will provide any vehicles necessary for travel to and on WBTWMA. The Contractor will provide all tools and equipment necessary to complete work. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to assess the need for and supply the necessary equipment to transport material and construct fence in wet conditions. 1.6 There is no access to the WMA from 528. The only acceptable entrances for this project area are the main entrance (3365 Taylor Creek Rd.) and the entrance on the north side of 520 (See Figure 1). 1.7 The contractor shall remove from the job site all debris and excess material associated with the creating and dismantling of fences, including wire, posts, staples, and trash before a final payment is completed. All debris removed must be disposed of off-site in a legal manner. This does not include vegetation removed from the right of way. 1.8 The FWC Project Manager will supply any available area maps or other pertinent information that the Contractor may require. 1.9 The Contractor must coordinate field activities with WBTWMA personnel to ensure work is coordinated with other WMA activities, such as prescribed burning. 1.10 At the time of completion, the FWC Project Manager will inspect the project to ensure all specifications were followed.
