The project aims to design and install an integrated audio-visual (AV) system that enhances the auditorium’s functionality for meetings, presentations, and entertainment. The system should allow: • Effective audio distribution for both in-person and virtual attendees. • Clear visual presentation for both board members and audience members. • Reliable integration with Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings. • A cost-effective and user-friendly system that meets the needs of the community. System Design: o Conduct a site evaluation to determine optimal equipment placement. o Design an AV system that includes projection/display solutions, audio components, and necessary control systems. o Ensure compatibility with Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Teams. Visual Display Solutions: o Utilize the existing projector-painted wall for high-quality visual projection. o Recommend and install a projector or large-format display(s) suitable for the space. o Ensure that both the Board members and the audience can view presentations clearly. o Provide options for secondary displays if necessary. Audio System: o Install a sound system that ensures clear audio for all attendees. o Include microphones suitable for board discussions, audience participation, and virtual attendees. o Integrate speakers to evenly distribute sound throughout the room. o Ensure effective noise cancellation and echo reduction for virtual meetings.
