Soil sterilization of approximately 36,000 x 4ft wide entire fence line of the airport property two times a year. Brush control of all existing brush (woody vegetation-trees) all along the entire fence line. This translates to a total area of 146,800 square feet. This is to be done 2 times a year. 17.1.2 Pigeon Control on a monthly basis to comply with FAA Part 139.377 Wildlife Hazardous Management. 17.1.3 Monthly Pest Control for 4 Buildings: Terminal/Central Plant, building 190, FIS Customs, and ARFF Building 1050. Services shall be for entire properties, inside and outside. All exterior of buildings have to be fumigated up to 20ft. 17.1.4 Bee and Rodent Control as needed. 17.1.5 It is preferred that least toxic chemical controls be utilized when pesticides or herbicides are needed and the use of non-chemical management strategies be utilized whenever practical. 17.1.6 All work shall be in accordance and consistent with EPA defined management practices and that reflect the optimal combination of pest management tactics that are compatible with human health and environmental protection. 17.1.7 The contractor shall provide complete service schedules that include contractor visits, specific day(s) of the month for contractor visitations and approximate duration of each visit. Service schedules shall also include work performed and to what locations. Visits shall be scheduled accordingly with the Airport Department contacts specified in section 16.3 17.1.8 Other pest control services for other areas may be requested by Airport on a needed basis.
