5. DAILY MONITORING A. Contractor shall have the capability to remotely operate and manage the water system and perform remote inspections utilizing the standalone computer system currently installed at the CHP Williams Area office, specifically between the hours of 8 am – 5 pm. B. Contractor shall monitor and evaluate performance of system, make necessary adjustments, and provide updates to CHP Facilities personnel that are involved in the plant operations and maintenance. 6. MONTHLY SERVICES A. Contractor shall perform preventative maintenance, inspections and operational adjustments of the Greensand/Activated Carbon pretreatment system and Reverse Osmosis System. B. Contractor shall perform flow verification and adjustments to chlorine analyzer. Additionally, contractor will add the proper chlorine analyzer reagents to the analyzer to insure accurate readings. C. Contract shall ensure that the necessary water treatment chemicals are added to the proper chemical tanks to ensure the performance and safeguard the final water quality. D. Contractor shall perform inspection and cleaning of all on-line static mixers. E. Contractor shall perform inspection and cleaning of the air system. Contractor shall purge the air system reservoir of condensate. F. Contractor shall provide monthly treated water bacteria samples; deliver it to a California State Certified Laboratory for bacteriological testing (see State Water Resources Control Board website for a listing of laboratories certified for drinking water analyses). These tests must meet the American Water Works Association standards and guidelines, results will be sent to CHP Facilities contact monthly. G. Contractor shall keep water treatment area clean and free of debris at all times. H. Contractor will maintain records of remote access, adjustments, clearing of alarms, site visits, and site work on the existing log files located on the plant computer.
