Services will include, but are not limited to, typical engineering services such as: • Preliminary Engineering o Provide consulting and professional services including project concept, design engineering, and drafting services. o Prepare base maps and AutoCAD, preliminary layouts, estimates of probable costs and alternatives as requested; o Preparation of boundary, topography maps, and monument setting. o Provide geotechnical services; o Complete ALTA/ACSM land survey; • Permits o Preparation and review of documentation relating to easements, Rights-of-way, Lot Line Adjustments, parcel splits/mergers, etc. o Review and provide comments on environmental documents for proposed projects in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act. o Assist the Agency in obtaining approvals (and environmental permits as may be o required). o Identify off-site requirements and provide cost estimates. • Bidding of Projects o Assist the Agency in answering bidder’s questions, attend pre-bid conferences, job walks, and perform constructability review; o Provide professional services during the bid process, including preparation of cost estimates and specifications, project construction, and project completion. o Work with architects or independently to review site plans and drainage plans. o Prepare engineering drawings for utility location and design; o Ensure compliance with Uniform Accessibility Standards (UFAS), the HUD Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines, including the Section 504 program, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Guidelines, ANSI requirements, and all other Federal, State, and Local standards.
