Removal and disposal of existing fire pump, jockey pump and controllers. Installation and commissioning of new fire pump, jockey pump, and controllers, etc. to ensure proper operation. 1. To remove and “Replace in Kind” the following equipment associated with the fire pump system • 500 GPM Horizontal Split Case Fire Pump – Rated Pressure at 40PSI 100% 20HP 480V 3 Phase (voltage to be confirmed by contractor) • 20HP 480V Controller with Automatic Transfer Switch. The current configuration has a remote transfer switch located within the main switchgear room. The replacement controller shall be located within the fire pump room per the NFPA & NEC requirements. • ¾ HP Jockey Pump 120V Single Phase (voltage to be confirmed by contractor) • ¾ HP Jockey Pump Controller Single Phase (voltage to be confirmed by contractor) 2. Provide shop drawings and submittals of the above scope and equipment. 3. Testing of new equipment shall be performed under the supervision of DGS and the manufacturer’s representative. 4. A detailed report of testing shall be provided to DGS 5. Training on new equipment and all applicable equipment manuals shall be provided to DGS. 6. Fire sprinkler control valves and fire pump test header are existing to remain, unless demeaned inoperable.
