The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Demolish Banks and Adirondack Residence Halls project at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Banks Residence Hall, constructed in 1972, is a 62,046 GSF, nine-story building, that was vacated in the Spring of 2020. Adirondack Residence Hall, constructed in 1972, is a 62,627 GSF, three-story building that was vacated in the Spring of 2021. The Project will demolish both Banks Hall and Adirondack Hall. The Project includes the demolition of both Banks and Adirondack Halls which are concrete and brick structures. The work includes cut and capping exiting utilities at the source, removal of mechanical equipment, and protection of existing underground utilities, earthwork, planting, landscaping, and walkways. The Project includes the removal of hazardous materials.
