This project consists of replacing some twenty (20) balancing valves, ceiling work, temperature control work associated with these valve replacements, replacing the Boiler Temperature Controls in the South Boiler Room, balancing of the water and air systems, and some electrical work that is to install about 30 electrical outlets in a number of classrooms. Contractors need to follow the contract documents for the work as needed at the school and per the contract documents. All questions will need to go through PCI Consulting. The Mechanical Contractor shall be responsible for removing any and all ceiling tiles and maybe the ceiling grid to gain access to the ceilings for work involved in this contract. When these ceiling tiles are removed, they will need to be safely stored, then reinstalled back into the ceiling grid. If the ceiling grid is removed, this must be repaired. The Mechanical Contractor shall clean up completely at the end of each day. The Mechanical Contractor under this RFP shall carry all costs associated with sealing all new wall penetrations. Penetrations shall have the appropriate caulking to fill in around any new piping penetration and the existing walls. Mechanical Contractor to employ the services of Temperature Controls of VT (TCV) for all control work associated with this new Rooftop unit and reheat coil. TCV is the temperature control contractor for the School District. The Mechanical Contractor and Subcontractors shall obtain all construction trade permits necessary for the project complete and for the duration of this project. The contractor(s) will then be responsible for closeout of all trade permits and forward all paperwork for the MRUSD at the completion of the project
