Contractor must adhere to the following requirements: 1.1 Seedlings shall be sown, grown, sorted, and packaged for shipment by seed lot. 1.2. Seeds: Agency and Contractor shall collaborate to determine the amount of seed needed to produce the seedlings based upon the most recent germination test. Seeds shall be provided to Contractor at a date mutually agreed upon by both parties. ODF will provide test results on seed quality, if available. ODF does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. If the Contractor determines additional seed testing is necessary, the testing will be done at no additional cost to ODF. Contractor shall stratify seed as necessary. 1.3. Contractor shall employ cultural techniques such as, but not limited to, top pruning, lateral root pruning and wrenching as necessary to promote a fibrous root system and acceptable shoot/root ratios. 1.4. A crop inventory of the estimated harvest shall be sent to Agency by October 15th of each year, prior to lifting. ODF may request scatter diagrams, by lot, documenting height and root collar diameter, shall be provided with the inventory. Agency reserves the right to inspect the seedlings at any time. 1.5.
