(a). All products must be received, processed and delivered under the most sanitary conditions. State of Texas standards for content and handling must be maintained during the contract period. All products will be subject to inspection by the Health Department at any time. A copy of the report of the most recent state and/or city health inspection must be furnished upon request. (b). All deliveries must be made to the CN Warehouse located at 2301 E. Rio Grande. For unloading, the delivery vehicle must be able to dock at a height of 4 to 5 feet. A representative from the VISD Child Nutrition department must be presented with the delivery invoice to be signed at the time of delivery. (c). All items must be on a pallet when delivered. Victoria I.S.D. will trade pallet for pallet, if requested. (d). All items must be delivered in its properly specified form. Upon arrival at the warehouse, an opening temperature of +34 to 39 degree F will be allowed. No deliveries on dry ice will be accepted. (e). Items that are crush able must be handled appropriately. We reserve the right to refuse any damaged shipment (f). If quantities ordered are not delivered, the Victoria Independent School District reserves the right to purchase items not delivered from the next lowest bidder.
