This project, located in Anne Arundel County, is for the construction of new sidewalk, ADA improvements and traffic signal upgrades at select intersections on MD 173 (Fort Smallwood Road). Beginning at the Intersection of Duvall Highway and MD 173 and extending in a Northerly direction to Kenton Road for a total distance 0.72 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) Installing new sidewalk to provide continuous connection along northbound MD 173; (b) Upgrading existing sidewalk ramps and driveways to meet ADA compliance; (c) Traffic signal upgrades at select intersections; (d) Signing and marking upgrades; (e) Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control; (f) Drainage improvements, pipe and inlet cleaning; (g) Landscape design; and (h) Relocation of a portion of Anne Arundel County Water transmission line
