Every year calibration services are to be performed on any one ML-500 base and associated 500 cells and up to any two ML-800 bases and their corresponding three cells. Product maintenance, pre and post dynamic flow comparisons and full dimensional calibration shall be undertaken against full manufacturer’s specifications: a. For the ML-500 Base Unit and the ML-800 Base Unit, flows from the flow cells must be clearly displayed without intermittent shorting of the display b. For the ML-500 High Flow Cells (ML-500-44), flows must be between 500 and 50000 standard cubic centimeters per minute with a volumetric uncertainty of +/-0.25% (standardized accuracy of +/-0.40%) where the measurement uncertainty is stated as a percent of reading (including standardization, if applicable) with a 95% confidence interval. For the ML-800 Ultra Low Flow Cells (ML-800-3), flows must be between 0.5 and 50 standard cubic centimeters per minute with a standardized / volumetric uncertainty of +/-0.25% plus 0.002 standard cubic centimeters per minute where the measurement uncertainty is stated as a percent of reading (including standardization, if applicable) with a 95% confidence interval.
