a) Online curriculum in Workforce Readiness/Employability Skills; b) Aligned Readiness Certificates in Workforce Readiness/Employability Skills; c) VR devices for delivery of curriculum; d) Comprehensive reporting on Inmate progress, instructional time, completion rates, and any other reports the Department may require during the term of the Contract; e) All necessary network capabilities required to communicate across the Vendor’s online system; and f) Network operations, repair, maintenance, and updates of all Vendor-related equipment and software. The Department’s objectives for the Workforce Readiness/Employability Skills instruction and credentialing are to: a) Reduce recidivism while enhancing public safety and promoting post-release success; b) Create an educational foundation that will enable Inmates to become more employable, productive, and self-sufficient citizens; c) Document and improve Workforce Readiness/Employability Skills of Inmates who demonstrate skills at and above fifth (5th) grade level equivalency; and d) Equip Inmates with Workforce Readiness/Employability Skills certificates that can be used for post-release employment.
