1. All facilities for leased storage space shall meet any and all federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) requirements for the storage of commercial and consumer fireworks and articles pyrotechnic. These requirements include specific requirements based on the “Table of Distances”. The Table of Distances prescribes storage amounts relative to the distance to the nearest inhabited buildings and occupied roads near the proposed leased space storage site. At a minimum, based on the Table of Distances, any proposed storage sites shall allow for storage of at least 16,000 pounds of the above-described materials. 2. The proposed facilities must be specifically designed for the purpose of storing the above-described materials. Examples of this include: militarytype explosives bunker or commercially manufactured explosives storage magazine. 3. All facilities must receive concurrence, if selected, to store abovedescribed materials from the Honolulu Fire Department if necessary. 4.
