The project entails replacing an a watermain within an alley, including replacement of the pavement damaged by the utility work and replacement of lead water service lines. Major work items include but are not limited to • Removal and replacement of 6” cast iron water main with an 8” HDPE water main. • Removal and replacement of various valves, fittings and appurtenances. • Removal and replacement of potable water services within the ROQ. • Removal and replacement of lead water services on private property • Removal and replacement of sanitary sewer services within the ROW. • Removal, salvage and replacement of various retaining walls. • Removal and replacement of roadway subgrade. • Removal and replacement of roadway surfacing both bituminous pavement and concrete pavement • Site protection and restoration work.
