1. The roof replacement of the Westmoreland Manor – D Wings, where the roof structure is composed of an existing 6” concrete roof deck. The Work includes the demolition of the existing roofing assembly, including a hot mop deck, approximately 1-½” of tapered insulation (thickness to be field verified), (2) layers of protection membrane (number of layers to be field verified), and the removal of approximately 2” of rock ballast (to be field verified). The new roof assembly is to be a fully adhered EPDM roof system, including insulation replacement. 2. The appropriate disposal and abatement of and all hazardous materials uncovered during roofing demolition in accordance with standards set forth by OSHA, PA DEP, and EPA. 3. The maintenance of indoor air quality via isolation and protection of openings and apertures. Demonstration of protection of indoor air quality via preconstruction baseline testing and monitoring through construction as needed and conducted by Certified Testing Agency subcontracted by Contractor.
