AUDITING SERVICES

The City of Elizabeth is requesting proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide Auditing Services. The City of Elizabeth receives grants from both the Federal and State governments to provide services to the residents of this City. The Proposer(s) will be required to conduct an audit of the individual funds and the account group of the City and be required to perform, but not be limited to, the following services: Perform Annual Audit to include the financial statements pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:5-4. Perform Annual Single Audit to satisfy Federal and State Single Audit requirements and the audit of grant programs totaling more than $10 million. Review the Annual Budget prior to filing/adoption consistent with statutory deadlines. Perform review of Deferred Compensation Plan. Perform preparation of 5-year comparative summary of financial exhibits for use by Department of Finance. Perform audit of Municipal Court and Dog License reports. Preparation of Synopsis of Audit for publication
