Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to collect and dispose of debris in the event of a natural or man-made disaster and to provide other emergency equipment, materials, supplies, and services. The CCPRC intent is to remain prepared and able to respond to a natural or man‐made disaster. In the case of an event, one of the primary focuses after the disaster or storm will be the “clean-up” of debris. The CCPRC is being pro-active and desires to have clean-up agreements with private contractors established prior to a disaster affecting the area. These agreements will allow clean-up and disposal, utilizing some private forces, to begin almost immediately after the disaster or storm has passed
