A/E Services will be provided in two (2) phases. Phase 1 Services: The Contracted Firm will be required to first provide cost estimating services to determine whether the District’s project requirements can be constructed at or below the above referenced Project Budget. Thereafter, the Contracted Firm will work with the District to validate the Project scope of work to align with the Contracted Firm’s generated cost estimate and Project Budget. Should the scope of work not align with the District’s Project Budget, the District may, in its sole discretion, elect to terminate the PSA resulting from this RFQP for convenience in accordance with the Termination for Convenience provision of the Agreement. Phase 2 Services: If Services performed during Phase 1 provides the scope of work aligns with the Project Budget, the District and the City of Lodi have executed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Lease Agreement, both providing for the District’s rights to proceed with the Project, and the District issues a Notice to Proceed with Phase 2 Services to the Contracted Firm, based on the validated scope of work the Contracted Firm will determine what Agencies Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) approvals are required and provide engineering and/or architectural services to deliver a set a drawings and specifications to be approved by those AHJ’s, and to be constructible; provide Construction Administration Services during construction phase and provide all support and requirements to ensure occupancy and District’s receipt of any and all AHJ’s approvals required for use and occupancy by the District of the Project...
