The Pyramid Model implementation infrastructure consists of: • NYS Statewide Coordinators: Provide statewide management of the Pyramid Model to fidelity as outlined by the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI). The Statewide Coordinators (currently consists of 2 FTEs) oversee and support the NYS Pyramid Model Regional Coordinators (see Attachment 12 Pyramid Model Regions for listing of regions) and coordinate the Statewide Leadership Team (SLT) and the use of data from the Pyramid Model Implementation Data System (PIDS) to plan for needs in the state. Please see this website for more information https://www.nyspyramidmodel.org/. • NYS Pyramid Model Regional Coordinators: The NYS Pyramid Model Regional Coordinators (currently consists of 5 FTEs) are located throughout the state to serve the respective regions, carrying a cohesive message, supervision and leadership for Pyramid Model implementation. The NYS Pyramid Model Regional Coordinators: (1) work with and regularly meet with the NYS Statewide Coordinators to share information on implementing the Pyramid Model at the regional level; (2) recruit ECEs to implement the Pyramid Model by presenting the Pyramid Model Roadmap Implementation series and hosting Pyramid Model summits; (3) retain and engage implementing agencies so they can build their capacity by maintaining an ECE workforce trained/coached on the Pyramid Model framework; and (4) support the PDN serving their region, (5) ensure the data for their region is in PIDS and is used for strengthening the implementing agencies. • Professional Development Network (PDN): This network is comprised of Pyramid Model trainers, coaches, and Implementation coaches vetted and selected by CCF and the SLT. The PDN provides Pyramid Model training (in-person and virtual) to the ECE workforce and to both implementing and non-implementing agencies. The PDN supports classroom coaching, leadership team coaching, formal observations using the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) and Teaching Pyramid Infant-Toddler Observation Scale (TPITOS), and Positive Solutions for Families workshops to support families. The PDN, in coordination with the Pyramid Model Regional Coordinators, also presents the Pyramid Roadmap Implementation series to recruit new ECE agencies to implement the framework.
