The Office of Legislative Management (OLM) on behalf of the Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) is soliciting proposals for the provisioning, installation, and configuration of a new video server, redundant backup video server, shared area network (SAN) server, transcoding computer, audio/video router, and backup video recorders for The Connecticut Network (CT-N), the CGA’s video production facility which records and airs gavel to gavel legislative sessions, meetings, public hearings, news briefings, and off-site forums and lectures for all three branches of the Connecticut state government. The CGA reserves the right to make multiple contract awards in connection with this RFP. The contract award for each equipment upgrade or multiple equipment upgrades may, at the CGA’s discretion, be distributed among more than one respondent. Respondents may choose to bid on part or all of the proposed work in this RFP.
