The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Redesign of selected areas of Main Floor, Second and Third Floors with new layout, finishes and MEP. In addition, note work in selected areas of Sub-Basement, Basement, Ground Floor, Third Floor and Roof to accommodate new MEP systems. 2. Note: Selected electrical devices for the project are being donated by LeGrand to HPL, and supplied to the electrical contractor to install. See list of donated items on Electrical Drawings. 3. Repair and replacement of glazing and selected curtainwall framing at east and south walls where indicated. 4. Existing building type classification A-3 and construction type IIA (fully sprinklered) are remaining. 5. The work of this phase shall meet all sustainability requirements of the CT High Performance Building requirements. Refer to Section 018113 Sustainable Design Requirements. 6. Removal of all debris caused by this Contract. 7. Protection of the public, building, grounds from damage during this contract is the responsibility of the Contractor for this project at all times. 8. Repair any doors/hardware damaged caused by this Contract. 9. Repair any walkways or paved areas damaged as a result of the Work.
